“When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the morning light, for your life and strength. Give thanks for your food, and the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies with yourself.” - Tecumseh
The S&P500 had a down week after closing the previous week at a new high (see chart below). We are now -3.66% below the high close, so just a slight retracement so nothing to worry about right now! Eventually the correction will come, so just be prepared with the proper asset allocation that matches your risk tolerance!
“He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.” - Epictetus
“Our fatigue is often caused not by work, but by worry, frustration and resentment.” - Dale Carnegie
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” - Anonymous
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” - Albert Einstein
“The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond them into the impossible.” - Arthur C. Clarke
“Happiness is like a kiss. You must share it to enjoy it.” - Bernard Meltzer
The S&P 500 had an up 4 day trading week as it hit a new intraday high of 3861.45 and new high close of 3853.08 on Thursday 1/21/21 (see chart below)! Just enjoy the ride, but be prepared that a correction will eventually happen!
