“In the household in which I was raised, the themes were pretty simple. Work hard. Don’t quit. Be appreciative, be thankful, be grateful, be respectful. Also, never whine, never complain. And always, for crying out loud, keep a sense of humor.” ~ Michael Keaton
“Stop holding on to what hurts and start making room for what feels good. You are not what happened to you in the past. You are now, you are this moment. What will you do with it? Who will you choose to become?” ~ Robert Tew
“Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... It's about learning to dance in the rain.” - Vivian Greene
“Health does not always come from medicine. Sometimes it comes from peace of mind, peace in the heart, peace in the soul. It comes from laughter and love.” - Unknown
"We are more often frightened than hurt; and we suffer more from imagination than from reality." - Seneca
The S&P this past week was basically flat as it keep testing the resistance level from the last swing high close on 12/3/18 (see chart below). Hopefully next week we can close above this level and if we get a new trade deal with China, we will probably head to new highs which was set on 9/21/18 at 2940.91! The close on Friday put us only -4.71% below the last high close of 2930.75 set on 9/20/18.
“It’s better to bite your tongue than to eat your words.” ~ Frank Sonnenberg
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.” – The Buddha
