Thought for the day, plus some posts on the Stock Market, Finance, Politics, and Life!
A good article that all the Socialists should read before they push their single-payer agenda.
“Compassion is the reaction of an open heart.” ~ Dr. Linda Bender
“Don’t just count your years, make your years count.” ~ Ernest Meyers
“Gossip and drama ends at a wise person’s ear. Be wise. Seek to understand before you attempt to judge. Use your judgement not as a weapon for putting others down, but as a tool for making positive choices that help you build your own character.” - Unknown
The S&P was unable to fill the gap down created from 1/30/18 (see chart below). This means so far we aren't going to put in any new highs created on 1/26/18. From what I read, if we don't put in a new high, the high from January will be the end of the bull market which will go down in history as the 2nd longest bull market. However if we can now put in a new high, this will be the longest bull run.
"Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it." - Maya Angelou
“You can’t control what other people do. You can control the way you react.” - Unknown
A good article that talks about debt in a relationship.
“Most of us, swimming against the tides of trouble the world knows nothing about, need only a bit of praise or encouragement – and we will make the goal.” ~ Jerome P. Fleishman
“It’s the little things you do that make the big things happen.” ~ Mike Dooley
