The 3rd quarter of 2018 is over and here are the results: S&P +10.56, DOW +8.83, Nasdaq +16.56 (results from Morningstar).
My investment portfolio was only up +4.23% YTD. Look at the YTD returns of the funds in my portfolio (below). Here is what I'm currently holding in my portfolio. I'm not trying to keep up with the markets since most of my holdings are in income producing funds. Plus, I'm in a lot of cash right now, waiting to go back into stock and bond funds when the timing is right.
It looks like the S&P is possibly forming a bull flag since hitting new highs (see chart below). We'll have to see if we break-out to the upside to verify this as a bull flag, or pullback some more nullifying it.
